Weekend Event

The most comprehensive consulting approach from Refreshing Rain Ministries starts with a weekend event. Things start off with a “Christian Night at the Improv”. This event can include the entire congregation, adults only, or a select group, but should not be limited to the leadership of the church. It is an evening of fun with singing and comedy. Another option is to add dinner for all attendees. This is an evening for fellowship. The next step is a Saturday meeting with the leadership of the church. This meeting is a time for examination and reflection. The meeting will include a Church Life Survey Assessment and group interviews. The weekend concludes with Rev. Raney preaching during the Sunday morning service.
This is the typical model for the weekend event but the schedule can be modified to fit needs and situations such as geography and time limitations, etc.

Follow-Up
Within one to two weeks the church will receive an analysis of the Assessment Survey and Interviews. This deliverable will include a summary of results with recommendations for the church.

Consultation Services

After the delivery of the survey and interview results the church can contract with Rev, Raney for further consulting.  The areas for consulting can include:

  • Building Leaders and Leadership
  • Technology
  • Business, Finance, and Administration
  • Arbitration

A Weekend Event is not always a viable solution for a church due to geography, time, or financial constraints.  Refreshing Rain Ministries can provide an individualized, flexible package for your church to provide the assessment and/or consulting services needed.
